Filippo Ghignone
Born in Bologna on the 27th April 1981. He graduated in law summa cum laude in 2003 from the University of Bologna, with a thesis entitled ‘Community policies in matters of the determination of jurisdiction and forum shopping’ (‘Politiche comunitarie in materia di determinazione della giurisdizione e forum shopping’), thesis supervisor: Professor Paolo Biavati ; since that date he has worked in collaboration with Professor Paolo Biavati. In 2004 he obtained with top marks a diploma (Master Universitario “A. Berliri”) in tax law.
He was admitted to the Bar in 2006 and practises law in the field of commercial law, with a particular focus on bankruptcy and company law. In 2007 he was admitted to a Ph.D from the University of Bologna in ‘Institutions, Markets and Protection’, civil procedure law studies.
