Barbara Maffei Alberti
Born in Bologna on the 12th January 1970. She graduated in law summa cum laude in 1996 from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on tax law on the subject of ‘Income Tax Reform in the Ministry of Finance’s ‘White Book’ (‘Riforma delle imposte sul reddito nel ‘Libro Bianco’ del Ministro per le Finanze’) , thesis supervisor: Professor Adriano di Pietro.
She has been practising law since 2000 and in the same year began working with the legal firm of Professor Sbisà, Professor of private law at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
Since 2001 she has worked with the firm, dealing largely with disputes and the provision of legal advice and opinions in the area of civil and commercial law, focusing specifically on bankruptcy and company law, the drawing up of contracts and carrying out due diligence.
